Bill,

If VNC server isn't logging things to the Event Log then something somewhere
is pretty screwed up.  As a simple test, can you try removing VNC from the
machien and then reinstalling it?  This will cause the service to be
unregistered and reregistered, which will cause certain logging &
permissions to be reset to the correct values.
