I experienced a problem when using the auto-repeat feature only with Xvnc 4.1 running on Suse 10.
Note: on the client side this problem can't be duplicated with US or UK keyboard. French keyboard example: Press (and not release) <Shift><;>, the ouput will be /???????///////////// The first / is correct (because <Shift><;> output a "/" with a French keyboard). Then multiple '?' are displayed (due to autorepeat feature). After correct '/'s are again displayed. German Keyboard example: Press (and not release) <Shift><,>, the ouput will be ;:::::::;;;;;;;;; The first ; is correct (because <Shift><,> output a ";" with a German keyboard). Then multiple ':' are displayed (due to autorepeat feature). After correct ';'s are again displayed. Note 1: this problem can't be duplicated when using Xvnc 4.1 on RedHat or when using Xvnc4.0 on Suse 10 Note 2: this problem can be fixed by disabling the X11 auto-repeat(xset r off) Any already experienced this problem ? Is a specific library required by Xvnc 4.1 ?
