Well, I'm using Cygwin ported SSH on the client (PC) side and Linux SSHD
on server side. It works with 2 ISP's in Israel and it worked with the
free Alta-Vista (rest its soul) when I visited the U.S. last month.

You can configure SSH/D to use any port, not just the default port (22).
I don't know about zebedee but I assume it also has a configurable port.

As for the "Stream encryption - is it time?" thread, I want to remind
everyone that even though authentication and security is important, It
is not always needed. I use SSH when I connect form home to work, but
within the (internal) net at work there is no security protection. 2 of
the VNC sessions (showing various information) have no passwords. So
my point is: Even if encryption and compression is added to VNC, its
application should be optional (not automatic).

Ehud.
