[VOPmail Beta] what is the "protocol filter"

I see the following in my antispam logs:   ---- SMTPRS log entry made at 10/13/2003 00:02:11 Connection from  [63.162.190.21] blocked by the protocol filter.   I am not sure what this means. I am getting connections from that server which I am using as an SMTP proxy but I have not set it as trusted because I force authentication through it (otherwise I will be an open relay).   What is the "protocol" filter?   David Payer
