Dear Frank,

Could you e-mail me off-list to discuss this a bit further.
I'm curious as to how you have the Orinocco setup as a Hot Spot to enable current customers in your billing system to authenticate through the Wireless connection using the same userid and password through Vircom Radius.

Subject: [VOPRadius] Off Topic Wireless Internet (Needing Information)

If you're looking to do a hotspot I've missed with the Orinoco AP2500.  Awesome piece of equipment and not too expensive.  Ties in beautifully with VOPRadius to allow current customers access, and is very easy to configure just the way you want it.  My only problem was in setting up my WISP I couldn't get the distance I really wanted.  Currently we have customer from .5 miles to about 8.5 miles away.  Just couldn't get the distance.  Any other questions feel free to ask.

What's not too expensive?  What kind of connection speeds could I offer by putting something like this on the top of our office building?  Do you need an FCC license to do something like that?
