You are using a phrase in a new, different, and confusing way. You and Beene changed the definition of "COP." It is necessary to for you to warn the reader you do not mean COP in the usual sense. I thought you were making a mistake. People often do make mistakes. Beene thought that these results "are arguably outside the laws of normal thermodynamics." That is completely incorrect. It is just the opposite. As I said, if these results were outside of normal thermodynamics we would have no idea how much heat is being produced, or whether there is any indication of anomalous energy. The only reason anyone thinks there may be anomalous energy is because the instruments conform to normal thermodynamics. As far as I know, no instrument and no experiment has ever been shown to be outside the laws of normal thermodynamics. - Jed
