I know enough about the subject to admit error when I have not
made adequate use of Newton's laws of motion.

Do you think the above prediction is not allowed by Newton's laws?

Many years ago I took undergraduate physics.
Unfortunately, the program was more like a course
in applied mathematics than physics. Physics
should have less math and more history and philosophy
and more hands on work.
