Mmm, do you really mean implosions, not subsurface explosions? If you mean the latter, they wouldn't be incompatible with my scenario I don't think. I would expect some of the fusion products e.g. the energetic gammas to do subsurface damage.
The corresponding rationale for the argument (wrt what Mizuno has documented in the famous SEM image) of a real *implosion* as opposed to a subsurface explosion, demands a complete U-turn in perspective: that being LENR is the *result* and not the *cause* of excess energy which has already been released.
Let me say upfront that I am merely expressing this viewpoint as a possibility which is based on QM time-shifting, but which is falsifiable; and do not necessarily agree with it (until more is known).
The critical issue would then resolve to what is the cause of the previous release of 'excess' energy ... i.e. that which causes the time-delayed recursion of energy back into the Dirac sea. Is it some form of ZPE extraction (via the Casimir or Horace's AEH)?
Especially intriguing is the notion that the previous release is related to the epo - the electron-positron pair, and the disruption of the so-called "quantum foam".
More on that later, Jones
