Well, that answers the question then.
Many observers had hoped that Miles' work with boron and his reported
100% reproducibility was accurate. Apparently not.
Miles did go to the trouble to patent it: #6,764,561 - although Uncle
Sam picked up the tab: it was assigned to the US Dept of Navy.
