I agree, Jones. The experiment is so inadequate in filling the holes, it has no value. In view of the CF experience, which suffers from having to fill even imaginary holes, this does not mean that we should accept any claim just because it might be important. This work does not fill even the obvious holes while make an extraordinary claim.

YUP ... otherwise we would probably see some kind of secrecy order and the immediate removal of this from public dissemination.

Would you not agree - that from the mainstream perspective: the conversion of half a sample of 12C to 13C is ... how can I say it? beyond belief, beyond important ... even beyond the most important physics experiment of all time <g>

I do not believe that last one is necessarily an overstatement ... that is, if it were not for the "lot of holes."

Therefore our natural tendency is to find any and every reason that it cannot be true...

... and most likely - it cannot.
