The issue is not if global warming is happening, but if we are prepared for the challenges facing us. There are changes coming. Nothing ever stays the same. Sooner or later we will face significant global warming, a mini ice age, a solar flare, an asteroid impact, or some other issue that threatens our civilization. We need technologies like Cold Fusion to give us the tools to survive such changes.
I also think we are in peak oil. The problem I see right now is there are no viable alternative energy solutions. Even solar power and wind power is too expensive due to the installation costs. Also, they are not portable enough to power a vehicle. This cold fusion technology has the ability to solve all of our energy issues. For example, even if this technology NEVER advanced beyond 10KW that would be enough to continually top off a battery in an electric car. Also, that would be enough to power a home. However, we are in the early stages of this technology. I'm sure that in a few years we will see safe and reliable devices the same size as the one that is about to be manufactured now that output many times the energy. ________________________________ From: Terry Blanton <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sat, January 22, 2011 12:26:07 PM Subject: Re: [Vo]:Monday Update to Release Information on Self Sustain Mode My opinion is that the time for conspiracies by oilies to halt new energy sources has passed. Evidence indicates that we achieved the Hubble Peak in 2006. Saudi oil fields are in decline (seawater injection is killing them faster due to greed). Venezuela now has greater reserves than the Saudis. If there's any truth to fossil fuels causing global warming only a suicidal maniac would try to block clean energy. Me, I have am optimistic about humanity and believe that the time has come to embrace technology like the Toshiba 4S reactor; Solar, Sea, and Wind; and, LENR sources. Just my opinion. I could be wrong. T
