Scott Chubb's paper also says "at" the university. > and Levi was into "Board of Adviser" of Rossi's blog until end of January. > That does not mean much. He also lists someone who is either dead, non-existent or the name is spelled wrong. I think Rossi said he is not sure what the name it. Clearly he did not inform this person since he cannot even remember the guy's name. This is an informal board. It is just a list of Rossi's friends & acquaintances. Even if Levi is listed on this board, I don't see why that matters. Board members are not paid, and they have no influence beyond approving papers for the blog. It isn't as if being on the board gives them great power that will corrupt them. It is like being on the PTA Board at Nancy Creek Elementary School. You get to choose whether to have Oreo cookies or Graham crackers with coffee. > A true independent calorimetric test INSIDE U. of Bologna is not yet > performed. > Oh come now. Unless you think Levi, Villa, and all of the people who observed the first test are secretly plotting with Rossi, I think you should grant this is an independent test. As Levi said in the NyTeknik interview: “If I were an old professor with his career already done, then I would not have anything to risk. But any attempt at fraud on my part would be a terrible personal goal. What could I hope for? To have a title for ten days, and then be thrown from my own department. Because (the matter of) fraud comes up sooner or later. There is no hope for it. So if I ... well, I would be really stupid. Honestly, I would be really stupid!” Independent or not, what matters now is the 200 million euro business deal. If that is real, it goes through without a hitch, and they begin production than none of this will matter. No one will care whether the "board" is "independent." - Jed
