Not to my knowledge, but Levi has been in the news often, interviewed in
NyTeknik and elsewhere. If Rossi was lying about this I suppose Levi and the
administration at the university would object.

Anyway, if he is not paying for it . . . that means the tests are
independent! A win-win situation. Either way, they will reveal a fraud if
there is one (which I think is physically impossible).

Nonsense. He is no worse now than he was last year when I first began
hearing all those rumors about him. If you want perceived honesty, look
elsewhere. This guy has a dead person (or someone who never lived) on his
board of advisors, and a PhD from a fake university. Honesty in the normal
sense of the word has never been his strong suit, to put it as mildly as I
can. As I said last year, everything about him screams "FAKE FAKE!!!" --
except the calorimetry, which is the only thing that counts.

Exactly. So forget about personality issues. They mattered before when we
had nothing else to judge Rossi by, but we now have 1 L/s at 5°C delta T.
That overrules everything else.

I hope so. But I think there is no chance that anyone in the near term will
achieve the power density, absolute power, or control that Rossi has
achieved. Rossi is far ahead of the pack. If he can secure intellectual
property with a patent, he is worth every euro of the money Defkalion plans
to pay him. I assume the investors at Defkalion know a thing or two about
patents, and they have reason to believe he can get one.
