Another factor might be the lapse of time from when the sample is active to when
it was analysed.Perhaps the difference from the natural isotopic abundance only persists for a limited period of time once the reactor is switched off. Subsequent decay processes eventually give the sample a natural isotopic abundance. I have no idea if this is possible, but it would account for the difference between the Italian and Swedish measurements of isotopic abundance. Harry
