This may be a misunderstanding. They did not perform a single measurement. They measured repeatedly, and recorded the numbers. The numbers were about the same in all cases, ~5°C, so that is the only number they reported.
"A single measure" seems to imply they read the temperature only once. Perhaps this means they read only one parameter. That isn't true either. They read the instantaneous flow, total flow, input power, and inlet and outlet temperatures.
