Most people who have not followed the progress of this story carefully from
the start have no reason to suspect a fraud. I think NI simply has no idea
whether Rossi's machines do what he says they do.

What Levi (a UBO professor) thinks and does has always been puzzling. I
never understood why he never repeated his original 18 hour test using a
small device with a high power output. Instead, Rossi went to shorter
tests with much less power per unit size and weight. I never understood
why Levi hasn't pressed publicly for the university to receive a device.
SOON! There's no credible reason it has not yet been given one. IMO, it's
suspicious that they have not.

Why do you assume skeptics are against cold fusion? I don't know about
Park but I'm one skeptic who would LOVE for this to be real. That'd be a
lot more fun than any scam. The problem is and has always been Rossi's
attitude and behavior. Some advocates blame skeptics for the failure of
the E-cat to gain widespread acceptance. It's not their fault. Skeptics
only point out problems and issues. They have no influence on what the
device is or on how well it performs yet some advocates seem to suggest
that somehow, magically, they do.

Gee, it's not up to NI to validate Rossi. And sales don't validate
Rossi! This whole NI thing is sort of a red herring. I don't think it
means a thing that they sell to Rossi. I bet they sold stuff to Gaddhafi,
Hussein and maybe Iran's nuclear efforts too when it was legal to so do.
That doesn't imply either approval or acknowledgement that what those
people were building would work.
