Well, considering Defkalion claimed to be setting up for making hundreds of
Hyperions per year in the first quarter of next year, and claimed without
evidence that they had submitted applications to the Greek authorities for
permits to test and sell the devices, this is pretty disappointing.

My theory, and it's just conjecture, is that Rossi sold Defkalion a bill of
goods (that's to say: "nonsense" for non English speakers). Perhaps he
gave them some dimensions and specifications and they built up equipment
thinking they would get the secret sauce eventually when their deal with R
was consummated. But then it didn't happen. Maybe they tested the
machines with an electrically heated core? Who knows? Absent
specifications and independent test results, it's all pure guesswork!
