Speaking of, I have been searching for the molecular dissociation energy of deuterium on the web and have not found it readily available. I would think that it is greater than 4.8 eV and there seems to be a good deal of recent research on the ionization and dissociation energy of D; but, it doesn't just pop out at you. T
