So the coil acts something like a "heat magnet". The heat that should normally appear inside the cylinder as the gas expands under pressure is transferred to the coil. However despite the lack of heat within the gas, the gas manages to expand and push piston. Perhaps the removal of heat momentarily increases the density of the gas so it must expand. harry harry
