His reputation is on the line. I suggest you ask him to read Lewan's latest column and then ask him if he has reconsidered. In view of the instability and inaccuracy of the flow rates, I expect he will call for another test. As I said before, there is no rule saying you can only do a demonstration once. If they are engaged in R&D then they are doing tests of this nature every day. There is no reason why they shouldn't repeat it, and why they should not have third-party independent experts this time. I find it surprising that people engaged in industrial R&D would do such a problematic test. It was sloppy, unrehearsed, and the techniques were poor. They should fix these problems and do it again if they want to establish credibility. - Jed
