Jones has also alluded to secret knowledge that there is an ampule (perhaps from Brian Ahern). Whoa… this is vortex guesswork, not secret, and was supplied by someone else here as being the best if not only way to avoid the hydrogen diffusion problem, the air contamination problem and the lithium vapor attack problem. Not sure who proposed it - that the fuel could be admitted in a thin sealed tube made of a refractory or composite - but it makes more sense than to have loose powder in porous ceramic.
