We run it at 640x480x16bits, which is basically the resolution that the IP camera gives us. However, I did some tests at higher resolutions (don't remember exactly which ones) and things were looking fine. There was a funny thing I noticed though: 24 & 32bit modes were not working properly :(

Gonçal, which resolution and screen depth are you able to achieve?

My first need will be to run mplayer as you have done but reproducing a video
stored in a compact flash.

Oggetto: Re: [Voyage-linux] Alix1/3 VGA support (lxfb)

Actually, I would also be interested in optimized support for the
framebuffer: we are running an ALIX.1 with voyage as an IP camera monitoring
station (it's in a corridor, showing the output of a remote IP camera), running
mplayer on the framebuffer. The performance is actually OK without hardware
optimisation, but it might be better with it ;)

Cheers,
