Just curious: are you using git-svn to perform git operations on an svn
repo, or just using git directly? How big of a team are you using git with?

I think it would make a lot of things much easier but my impression is also
that it requires a better understanding of version control methods in
general, and that's something that my team already struggles with plenty,
even on a centralized setup like SVN.
