Rod Question

I am looking to get a middle of the line 6 weight rod. Nothing too
fancy. I read a review about Elkhorn EX3 flyrods and they sound pretty
decent. Anyone know anything about them? 

Also I was curious if anyone knows of a good trout stream (fish size
does not matter) on the west side of the mountains. I usually just go to
the snoqualmie but am looking for a change of scenery.
