I fished Bush Pt. Saturday, from High slack at 10 am or so till 3 pm.
Bright gorgeous day, very little pressure, and no follows.
Hershal was out and about, but I didn't see him score either.
Bad news is: one of the locals stopped by to visit as I was leaving and
said they are getting "about a fish a day" at Lagoon and Bush (that's
between two beaches, not per fisher) Hopefully, we are still a little early.
Good news is: they are getting some real hogs . . . for hatchery fish.
Several clipped fish in the 12-14 pound range have been landed. Here's
hoping last years "missing fish" are these 3 salt numbers.
