That's the point Ray, this wasn't a case of poor communication; it was a
matter of NO communication. Communication between the individuals involved
WAS attempted. It didn't work. If it had, none of this would have been
necessary.
Also, the problem needed to be addressed so that it could be avoided in the
future. If you know of a way of doing that without discussing it publicly
please let me know. If the problem doesn't get resolved then we risk having
no swaps in the future. If my bringing this issue up in the group helps
alleviate the situation in the future then bruising a few delicate feelings
will be worth it to me.
I made my point and that should be have been enough. If anyone else wants
to discuss these issues further I'll be glad to oblige them although I'd
really rather not. I would much rather be testing 11 new flies instead of 7
and have a good report to return on the swap so that I (and others) could
look forward to the next one. I would also like to drop the matter but
you'll never convince me that I shouldn't have expressed my opinion on this
matter.

Yea, it's bad when people leave others hanging due to poor communication.
But this discussion should be between the individuals involved, NOT the
entire list.
Let's get back to the regularly scheduled fishing discussions.
