Justin,

I am very sorry to hear about your father. My reason for bringing this
uncomfortable issue up is that my biggest pet peeve is the incredibly lax
attitude towards personal responsibility that pervades our culture. When
the President lies the Country shrugs and says, "who cares" and the
integrity of the office suffers. If you had communicated with the tiers (as
John did) I would not have felt obligated to handle this the way I did.
It's not the flies, you see; it's the responsibility for one's actions that
is the issue. I sincerely apologize to the group for feeling the need to
embark on this subject. I didn't enjoy it either. As I said, life isn't
always pleasant. I do wish you the best Justin during this very difficult
time for you.

regards,

Keith

Ouch....

Well since you have dragged the whole list into this little personal
vendetta I guess it's fair that I defend myself.

I returned home from my Christmas Vacation and noticed that my flies were
still on the table and hadn't been sent yet, miscommunication between my
wife and I. I quickly replied to Danny asking if I could send the flies
late. Shortly After, I received notice from my sister that my Dad had been
diagnosed with a rare form of Hepatitis C attacking his liver and that the
disease is terminal. My dad is 49 and I am 27. We are fairly close, and
this hit me hard. After I found out about this I went into my own little
world not talking to most anyone including my wife. You noticed as well, I
usually post 3-4 messages on this list a week. Well when I received this
package of feathers, something of divine nature I presume, It kinda snapped
me out of it.

I have since emailed Danny with apologies and asked him to send me the
addresses of all list member so I can send my flies to them personally.

This is my reason and "excuse." Take it for what it's worth. In the end I
agree it wasn't right to not communicate and leave everyone hanging.

Justin
