As a lurker i really want to chime in and agree with Preston. Anything we can do to
help keep our
outdoors there for our enjoyment is well worth it. Five bucks and a little decal is
nothing for the
right to part and have someone enforce the rules around you. Try parking anywhere in
an urban
downtown for $5 for a day. If the mone goes where it goes, more power to us who
support our
activites...

Subject: yellow vehicle stickers
I'm amazed and somewhat amused at the objections that so many people seem to
have to the stewardship stickers and, even moreso, the resistance to paying
an extra five bucks per extra vehicle. These stickers are your ticket to the
use of areas owned and maintained by the WDFW. All persons using these
areas, be they birdwatchers, hikers, boaters, or any other sort of
recreational users, are required to purchase and display this sticker if
they are using WDFW boat launches, access areas, etc., and the money helps
to defray the costs of maintenance.
