Greetings all. First off I hope I did this right.
I am new to the area and took up the sport of fly fishing about a
year ago. I am in the Navy stationed in Everett and always look forward to
the weekends when I have some time to go..
Some of the reasons that I joined this forum is because I am having
a hard time finding places to go.. I have done what other people have
told me and went and talked to local fly shops about some fishing
spots. Only one out of 4 places would give up any info. and it turned
out to be bunk. People are very strict about giving up there holes and
I understand to a certain extent. I have been to the Beckler River (
one of the places I was told would be good this time of the year) no
luck and the SF of the Skykomish never even found the place they were
describing and never found a place that I could wade. I never fished
for Salmon or Stealheads I dont think I am ready for something like
that. What I am really looking for is places that are wadeable that has
Cutthroats, Rainbows and Browns. Any suggestions? Comments?
