Seattle to Spokane

I was wondering if there might be any suggestions as to where a good place
to wet a line might be in Eastern Washington next week.  I've got to drive
from Seattle to Spokane and wanted to take an extra day to fish some place
along the way.

Since I'm way more knowledgeable about the west side...the east is new
territory with the exception of the Yakima.

I'm not picky...float tubing or stream fishing is fine by me.

Any suggestions?
