I would add to Mike's suggestions the N. Fork of the Couer D'ALene. 
Good cutt fishing, easier access than St. Joe.  The higher up you go 
the better.  Even as far up as Teepee Creek.  Look for Pritchard on 
an Idaho map, just N. of I-90, between Kellog and Wallace.
