I agree with Mike. There is lots of good fishing around here. I fished
the Spokane River yesterday morning in Riverside State Park about a mile
down stream from the Bowl and Pitcher. Lots of fish rising around 6:00. I
caught a 10" rainbow on a Griffith's Gnat and had a few strikes fishing wet
using a Pink Dink. If you do decide to fish the Spokane stop by the Blue
Dun fly shop and talk to Jan. He has been extremely helpful to me and
knows the river better than anyone in the area.
As far as lake fishing goes you can't do better than Amber. Plenty of fish
in the 14" range. I haven't been there in about 3 weeks so I can't give you
much current intel. Mike is a great source of information. His tips on
fishing Amber have always been right on the money. And as Mike said if
you can drive a little farther east you won't be disappointed fishing the
St. Joe.
There are lots of good choices on where to fish. My only advise would be
when (early or late seems to be optimum). Good Luck!
