Floated the Yak Saturday from Bighorn to Red's. Water clarity OK, wind was
vicious gusting to 30-40 mph. Some PED's in the late afternoon, some random
tan caddis, a few hoppers in the grass. Fish were not active until after
5:30 or so. ~3000+cfs flow.
I guided my cousin, an expat working in Nigeria, on his first flyfishing
trip. His first fish was a good one, an 18'+ thick 'bow on a #16 bh pt
nymph.
Enjoyed your floating silver pattern. How is Pt Fosdick fishing?
