Heck, it was 100% my pleasure, Jere. If any of you on the list haven't had
a chance to fish w/Jere, please find the opportunity if you can while he's
around. It was my first time on the Yakima and he made it feel like a home
water for me. Great boat control, expert guidance on the water and just a
fun day of conversation, sun and fish!

Had a number of "Oh damns!" in the early morning and was worried, but
finally loosened up and started lifting the rod better and got some good
sets. Very fun to bring a few nice fish like that to the boat, and fill in
with many dinks.

It certainly was fun for me, too! This 'bow loved the air - must've jumped
three or four times during the play. I let him get downstream,
unfortunately, and with the river running that high it was a tough pull
back up current. But boy did it give him some spring cuz he just went
straight up and Jere was right there with the net. Michael Jordan
should've had such accuracy into a net!

Thanks for a fun day, Jere! Can't wait for September and that water to
move down.
