You should be able to squeeze a piece of doubled over 25lb Maxima through the eyes of both a #4 and #2 Gamakatsu Octopus and throw the loop over and under the bend to form a loop to loop connection. It is far stronger, stiffer and infinitely easier than snelling.

On the pugetsoundflyfishing.com site the receipe calls for using a doubled over section of mono and making a loop connection to the stinger hook. Which one is better. Which one is easier to tie? Thanks in advance. I bought the components yesterday and am going to tie up a bunch.
