Definitely the loop version. I tried the snelled version and it's more difficult to get the hook to ride properly. The loop version is automatic. From: "ffishnfly chatterton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Beach Popper Date: Sun, 26 Oct 2003 09:46:15 -0800
Leland, on the Washington Flyfishers web site for tying your beach popper you the connection to the stinger hook should be a snelled connection. On the pugetsoundflyfishing.com site the receipe calls for using a doubled over section of mono and making a loop connection to the stinger hook. Which one is better. Which one is easier to tie? Thanks in advance. I bought the components yesterday and am going to tie up a bunch.
