I'm am running a G4-400 with OS 9.2.2 and every time after starting up or
waking up from sleep I have to wait a very long time to use my computer.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem and how I might fix it?
(I'm not using file sharing)
You don't say when you're waiting, but if it's before the happy mac
appears you need to set your startup disk in the Startup Disk control
panel.
Either that or the machine is possibly trying to find a network
somewhere. Make sure your networking is turned off if you're not
using it.
