to run Video ..... so they say ?
I would suggest there are a lot of issues to be resolved before this performs
like we would like it to .
The chances of getting a copper circuit that would handle that speed
are small if they exist at all .
If it's to work a whole new approach will need to be taken ...
Optic fibre perhaps .....
but why should Telstra or anybody else rush out and instal this
while the ACCC are
price fixing the returns .
Well, you could hope that the government sells off what's left of
Telstra but keeps the copper and exchanges and then charges all the
Telcos to run services over the government infrastructure. It seems
to work for roads...
As to whether we'll see that happen...
