That doesn't make much sense ... I wouldn't be surprised if the netgear support person just got it wrong. It should be capped at _either_ 1.5Mbit (G.lite support only) or 8Mbit (G.DMT) but I can't really understand how it could be limited to 2Mbit except by something like a CPU so slow it could only route 2Mbit/s. Of course, I'm certainly no expert with this stuff. Given that for the last 6 weeks WestNet have been having a hard time keeping the DSL service from going down several times a day, I'm finding those new iiNet services are looking more and more attractive every day... -- Craig Ringer
