Hi all
A strange issue has surfaced this morn.
I cannot access the file system on our G3/Panther directly.
If I try, a dialog window appears but never actually loads fully, it
just stays blank and the spinning beach ball of consternation just spins.
If I open an application and use it's open dialog to access the disk I
have a little more success, it can view the file system and when I pick
a file/folder I am presented with a network login window from the
neighboring DPG4/Panther!
Once logged in using this method I have full access again to the entire
G3's file system.
I have repaired permissions via the boot CD, taken ownership of the
entire drive, inc it's contents, all to no avail.
If I turn Personal file sharing off on the G4 the problem disappears!
Please help! My computer has been stolen by my other computer!
