If I turn Personal file sharing off on the G4 the problem disappears!
Please help! My computer has been stolen by my other computer!
I created a test account on the G3 which is not affected by this issue.
It can log in fine.
So it is just the original user account on the G3.
Using Windows Sharing on the G4 gets around it too.
I'm still baffled as to how to fix it though.
