I've seen this with >Panther but had no idea if it was "just me". I'm running Panther on both. There may in fact have been a custom icon in the sidebar for a network folder. It was not possible to type the password into the prompt if it even managed to load. Oddly enough if I opened an app, textedit, and clicked on Open a password prompt would appear and I could login with this particular prompt. Thanks again Paul
