I'm just trying to work out if being able to schedule a recording into EyeTV
with a zip into Dashboard and single mouse click instead of the current
process of go to TV guide webpage, copy and paste name of show, enter
channel, enter time and date hit okay is worth $156 per year.
Yes - the killer seems to be the subscription.
I've been looking at http://www.byopvr.com/ for some time - pitty
there aren't more people doing Mac based versions.
I wonder how long it will be until XBox / Playstation does it (PVR)...
Out of interest - do you watch you recorded TV on your monitor, pipe
it elsewhere in the house or have the Mac in you lounge room?
