I've been looking at http://www.byopvr.com/ for some time - pitty there aren't more people doing Mac based versions.

Out of interest - do you watch you recorded TV on your monitor, pipe it elsewhere in the house or have the Mac in you lounge room?

Most of the time I either burn to DVD, or put it on my Aivx drive (2.5" drive with various video out options built in).

I was hoping someone by now would have ported MythTV to the Mac natively.

PS XBox already does a media player, but no pvr capabilites. You have to pre-record or stream. And I think Front Row will be all about buying movies/tv shows from iTMS, rather than playing digital tv :-(
