Is there a way of converting a DVD-Rom from its PC Version to Mac

Sometimes, as a Mac User, I feel so deprived by way of the

Your question is not really clear, but the following thoughts come to
mind:
1. You don't need to "convert" the DVD. Your Mac can already read it.
2. Applications on the DVD cannot be run on a PowerPC-based Mac
without help. They need Windows and an Intel-type processor. On a
PowerPC-base Mac you can run Virtual PC and enjoy any of the software
on the DVD, to greater or lesser success.
3. Invest in an Intel Mac, download and install Boot Camp and /or
Parallels Workstation, and you have access to that "abundance of
software" without have to convert anything.
For my part, I have yet to see anything useful running on a PC that
does not have decent or better equivalent on the Mac. Mind you, I did
use the word "useful", so I'm not talking about games here.
