This might sound silly, but is it actually? A movie? A pc software title?
If its not mounting, also check the surface of the DVD. It maybe
scratched or dirty to the point that the laser in your dvd drive can't
pick up the tracks any longer. Or, the DVD could possibly be burnt in
some foreign format to the Mac, so it won't mount.
