Never say Never !

You say : One particular Text field .... over the whole database ! ?

The interpretation I give to this is that there are numerous fields ...
and a number of fields in that group in which you wish to change the Font !

If the interpretation is correct ...
are you able to sort the fields so that those needing to be changed
will appear in a row or a column   ???

In which case you could highlight that row/column and format only the cells it contains.

Reverse the sort to reinstate your presentation .

But perhaps I misinterpret what you are telling us .

In Layout click on the data field rectangle so that is shows it
little black "handles" for size changing then go Format and choose
the font etc. Return to Browse and the data should appear as chosen
in format. Save.
