We attempted to use Virex at work but ran into a world of issues, we had serious issues of power performance loss and this was partly due to the fact that it kept defaulting to scanning reading and writing on the hard drive and not just write, everytime we changed the option it would revert after a restart.
If you need a hand removing Virex I can give you a hand!
