Hi Paul,

I don't have specific information re TAFE however at Curtin we use Archicad
12 which is free for students and runs on Mac OS X and Windows - go to
www.graphisoft.com. We also use AutoCAD which is really not free, and
Windows only, however one of my colleagues has tested it with Parallels and
it works well under that - there is a Student discount available.

The product design people also use SolidWorks - again a student discount is
available.
