Hi, how do you import your photos? If you ingest them directly into Photoshop 
Elements it probably puts them into its own database. Most programs do this, 
such as Photos and Lightroom. Which is why I don't import my photos this way. I 
like to have them in folders on my HD reflecting the date they were imported.

So, what you may have to do is delete the photos from within Elements. That 
will be the only way you can access the database easily.
